I'd get these again. Good quality. Hold up well.I used them for cake balls.I am a caretaker for two aging parents. They are both on a lot of different medications so these little cups are a big help in distributing their meds. Highly recommend since it's the little things that make a big difference when involved in taking care of elderly.These are perfect to hold cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil (for the mice) and cotton balls soaked in clove oil and cinnamon oil (for the snakes). Each paper cup holds one large soaked cotton ball which can be placed in my garage on shelves, in drawers, and along the floor. The mice have become a nuisance and it won't be long for the snakes to come slithering in looking for the mice. In the past I never had mice by using peppermint oil, but for the past year forgot to put any out. So hopefully with these little cups in place, both these unwanted critters will look for more hospitable surroundings.These cups are not quite 1oz, really less then 3/4 oz. (See first picture, topped off Solo cup with remaining water in the glass.) But this fact it didn't really matter to me so I gave the product 5 stars. I use these for dip cups for my kids and it works great for veggies but they are a little small for chicken nuggets.When I repurchased the 1oz Solo cups using a different link (these labeled "Treated Paper Souffle Portion Cups") they turned out to be larger, and, in fact, actually hold 1oz. (Middle cups in the second picture). The third cup is a 2oz cup from another brand. They all 3 feel the same (not waxy) and have about the same amount of durability.I'd read reviews about these leaking or material quickly soaking through them. So, before I started using them for my paints, I filled one with alcohol and the other with glue. Neither leaked. The glue-filled one had a few minor seep spots after three days but not enough to drip down the outside of the cup. So, either this product has been improved in response to historical feedback or the other folks just got hold of a bad batch. Either way, the ones I received work great and don't leak.Arrived on time, not damaged or squished, and is a great value for the money.Just what we needed as we use it for my mother-in-law's medicine that we give her every day and night. Also this way I don't have to wash the little medicine cups that I had before these I can just throw awayNo strength, wouldn't hold a soufflè if it depended on it, just about holds ketchup. Let along the wet consistancy of raw soufflè mix. As a chef i am very disapointed, 3 times the size of a thimble as the discription states, my mistake because i no longer work in ounces and it equates to about 5ml. But not water proof at all. Given it 2 stars purely for quick delivery, thats the only upside. Wish it was waterproof. Only got to use 1.I use this for serving children's snacks at a playgroup rather than having little hands in a sharing bowl. Its amazing what fits in the 1oz size & they extend easily if necessary.eg : Berries,cut up fruit,6 mini cheddars,pom bears & suchlike, 3 kids biscuits ( wafer,iced ring & choc animal)I ordered some of these for work to dispense medication and they are perfect. It also prevents us using unnecessary plastic int he workplace which is an added bonus.Arrived quickly, box looked like it had spent the last 24 hours being shunted round the warehouse, few of the pots are damaged as a result and lots of the others are squashed into an oval shape.. Haven't got time to re order more so have to make do..These little cups are ideal in the home and have so many uses. I use them to put tablets in. If I am weighing out small amounts I simply place them onto my scales and add the herbs etc directly into the cup.
